Long Distance Relationships & FriendsSometimes being in a long distance relationship isn't even hard because of the distance between me & him and more so between balancing my boyfriend and my friends :(
I Love my friends and I love my boyfriend and I feel like Im in like a tug of war between them
It'd be a TOTALLY different case if I lived in Jersey and he lived in Maryland because any time I wasn't with my boyfriend I would be with my friends
But because they both live in Jersey I have to balance seeing him and making sure that our relationship is secure and that he feels like he's seen me enough and them feeling the same
it just gets really frustrating sometimes honestly
This is my first LDR & I'm learning how to approach it better now but it's still not easy

Although I love music and have been having great music days lately, this post will be a angry rant about the ridiculous cost of college textbooks -_-.
Ok so college is expensive...that's already breaking the bank and now books...that I need.
I'm beyond aggravated first with book hunting and tyring to find the cheapest books available and then with realizing that honestly the edition of the book that the professor requires isn't even really that important because, the new edition is usually not that far off from the previous edition anyway besides a whole bunch of unnecessary pictures....grrr growl rawr!!!
Anyway I will bring you another one of my favorite bands now that I'm done ranting.

BEYONNNDDD Awesome like seriously the best dance songs ever! Well at least for me.
The two member band is described as experimental electronica and honestly to me Crystal Castles redefines dance music. As much as I love them I don't really have much to say because their music says it all. One of my favorite songs in Magic Spells...an instrumental track that has an onymous man saying "i'll do my very best to."" and i miss the rest. ANyway give them a try!

I am IN LOVE with Little Dragon, an electronic band, and more so with their soulful lead singer Yukimi Nagano.
Not only is she a fellow Y name lololol but she has such a BEAUTIFUL unique tone and sound to her voice and I'm not sure if the songs that she sings are solely her words or the collaboration of all members, but the songs are perfection to me.
I heard her featured on a song by the Gorillaz called "Empire Ants" and completely blown away by the voice I heard singing this mysterious melody.
So I youtubed her and found her and her band's music and fell in love with songs such as "Twice", "Blinking Pigs", and "Constant Surprises".
I love these songs because besides the awesome sounds coming from my speakers and the sound of her voice, her lyrics are cryptic but very clear at the same time.
She doesn't say things very directly but makes it clear to understand what she means and I love that.
I love a good song that has me completely befuddled as to what is was really about till the end of time, but I also love being able to understand the subject matter and possibly relate to it you know.
Anyway love her, if you haven't listened to her or heard of the band, DEF check them out!
Oh and I trimmed my hair! :) I did NOT want to do i'm tellin you, but I knew it had to be done and my hair looks TONS better and should grow even more now that it's not being hampererd by annoying split ends. :D

Oh yeah Happy New Year :)
Anyhoo I've decided that I really wanna commit to being natural and by that I mean keeping my hair in its natural state aka no weaves, perms, relaxers, texturizers, etc
Now I doubt I'll never have a weave again or have extensions because I love to change up my look with my hair included, but I feel like I grew an unhealthy attachment to weaves and relaxers, etc. But I really just want to embrace my hair again. There was a reason for this weave attachment though. My hair has been through a lot smh and twice it has literally gone from shoulder length to almost nothing so I cut it December 2009 and decided to grow it back out in its natural state.
I didn't rock a TWA or any other natural styles but I took care of it and it grew substantially. From a step away from amber rose lol...ok not quite but very short to my collar bone, my hair has grown. I have a ton of split ends though =$ lol I can't get any damn relief, but I will just continue to nurture my hair and be comfortable in my own skin, weaved up or naturally beautiful.

I'm such a sporadic blogger and I'm really annoyed that blogger made the customization tools even more limited but whatever, eff em!
Anyhoo today was my coldplay day :)
At work nearly every darn day I find myself almost nodding off to sleep and its highly annoying because I have work to do and I can't afford to be caught sleeping on the job literally LOL.

I tried the deeper breathing, ice cold water and the coffee and I was instantly reenergized thank God. The deep breathing actually did the most for me.
And then I decided I needed some music so I youtubed coldplay and although coldplay usually makes me feel melancholy and calm, it helped awaken me.
